Baby Shower Today

I'm heading off to a baby shower, along with my mom, for a dear friend this morning and I wanted to share with you the gift we are giving the proud parents-to-be!!  The couple had registered for a baby bath thermometer.  It is a super cute turtle that floats in the tub with the baby.  Going along with the "green theme" we also are giving them a froggie hooded towel and bath mit from Tiny Tillia.  They are sooo cute.  I hadn't seen them in person before yesterday and I'm glad we decided to go with these.  I also threw in a gift set which included a shampoo/soap, moisturizing lotion and diaper rash cream.

I'm looking forward to a fun ladies day!!

Halloween Face Paint { giveaway }

My lovely sister, came up with this fabulous costume idea for my two kids.  I found most of what I need at Goodwill and at Target and so far this has been a really cheap adventure.  But I came to a stand still when I realized that I wanted to paint whiskers on their faces.  Did I need to buy face paints?  I assumed your typical big box would have some.  But then I remembered my Avon lipsticks, lip liner and eye liners!!  Why not?!?!  So I did a trial run on my little girl's face and I LOVE IT!!

Her whiskers are eye liner and her nose is lip liner colored in.  Of course you can use lipstick, too!
